Runcorn All Saints CE Primary School

We’re a small nursery based at All Saints C of E Primary School in Runcorn Old Town.  Our staff are all local and trained to provide sessional care for 38 weeks a year for children aged 2-5 years old. 

Our environment is safe and stimulating and we pride ourselves on being able help your little ones build their confidence and become more independent as they prepare for school.  We always support them and encourage them to progress in the best way they can.  We believe the early years of a child should be filled with fun as well as learning opportunities to develop their personal, social and emotional skills and our friendly atmosphere encourages this. 

Our last OFSTED Inspection was in 2018 and we got a Good rating.  Click here to view the report. 

All Saints Pre-school staff are dedicated, caring and inclusive. We follow the Early Years Statutory Framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage. This framework specifies the requirements for learning and development within the EYFS and provides 7 areas of learning.

There are 3 Prime areas:

Personal Social & Emotional Development.

Physical Development

Communication & Language Development

Also 4 Specific areas, which build on the prime areas of learning and provide children with the knowledge and skills to flourish.

Literacy.

Mathematics

Understanding the World

Expressive Arts & Design

Development in the specific areas is underpinned by those in the prime areas.

The framework, for children from birth to age five, emphasizes learning through play and requires providers to follow legal standards for development, welfare and safeguarding.
